Cinnamon Vanilla Latte

My life wouldn’t be complete without coffee.  There’s nothing more comforting than sipping on a warm cup of it, especially when it’s chilly outside. 

This latte kicks off my love for fall-themed coffee drinks (I know, I’m a little ahead of myself, it’s only August!).  I *almost* made it a pumpkin spice latte, but figured I’d save my excitement for pumpkin-everything until October. 

All you need for this is coffee, creamer of your choice (I used Trader Joe’s whipped cream), cinnamon, vanilla extract, and maple syrup (scroll to the bottom for full recipe).  My coffee brand of choice is Peace Coffee which is a local Minnesota company!  Their coffee is 100% fair-trade, high-quality, and organic: all important factors if you drink coffee on a regular basis.  

Also, shout out to The Beez Kneez (where my beloved coffee cup came from!) as well as Sota Clothing (where I got the MN tanktop in the photo above!).  

Making your own coffee drinks like this AT HOME, rather than going to Starbucks, is good for your health AND your wallet!  Don’t get me wrong, I love treating myself to Starbucks or Caribou every once in a while.  But unless you order black coffee, their flavored drinks tend to be extremely high in sugar and unhealthy fats.
